More Resources

Some more outside resources I have found that bring light to mental illness and have tools to help. Check them out.

The Local Optimist Website

The Local Optimist website has so many great resources for mental health awareness and help. They also have amazing stories from so many people talking about their mental health journeys. A great resource!

Link to Moments Podcast

The Moments Podcast is a podcast by a creator I love, Lexi Hidalgo. She is someone I have been following on social media for a long time and is a really big inspiration of mine in the mental health department. Her podcast is really eye-opening in my opinion, so go check out a few episodes!

Life in Full Color Blog

Life in Full Color is a blog I found. It is similar to mine. The creator struggles with her mental health as well and writes very insightful and helpful blog posts that I love to stay caught up on. I think you all will like it too!

HeadHelp is an app that is truly awesome. Everyone on it is completely anonymous and it is meant to be a supportive community for people struggling. There are groups you can join for specific topics and people are free to write anything to these groups. Others can respond with advice or support. My favorite part about HeadHelp is that you can chat with people anonymously. Conversations begin with a randomly generated ice-breaker question, but as you grow deeper connections with the people you chat with, the topic of conversation can stray to anything and everything – all while staying completely anonymous. It is awesome to be able to talk about anything with a person you barely know anything about, yet feel so comfortable with. I’ve met some really cool people on this app and very strongly recommend it to anyone that is feeling a little lonely in their journey.
