Something about sitting in a boring class listening to a teacher lecture is so unbelievably unbearable. A trick I’ve learned is to pop in your headphones (AirPods preferably) and play music quietly so it provides something else to listen to. For me, this helps keep me focused because it prevents me from getting wrapped up in my thoughts to a point where I can’t listen to anything the teacher is saying. It also prevents the urge to play games or do other random things on my computer, where then I would be distracted and wouldn’t learn anything. Listening to music is a perfect combination between a distraction and a tool to increase attentiveness. Just a little tip for you!
